Flexeserve donates to local children’s ward
Flexeserve, a brand of The Alan Nuttall Partnership, has made a toy donation to the children’s ward of the local hospital – with Global CEO, Jamie Joyce matching the donation.
Flexeserve has donated £500 of toys selected from University Hospitals Coventry and Warwickshire’s wish lists for babies, children and young people who will be staying in hospital over the festive period.
The Partnership is an Employee Ownership Trust (EOT) comprising two innovative brands – Flexeserve, industry leader in hot-holding and food-to-go, and Dudley-based Nuttall, specialists in retail environments.
Toy donations were made to Flexeserve’s local hospital, University Hospitals Coventry & Warwickshire (UHCW), with Nuttall donating to Russells Hall Hospital in Dudley, which are local to the two brands’ respective HQs.
Jamie Joyce, Global CEO of Flexeserve and Matt Hornblower, CEO of Nuttall – both Joint CEOs of the Partnership – visited the hospitals on 19th December to present the gifts. Each of the brands’ toy donations were made up of a £250 contribution from the company itself and a matched personal donation of £250 from each of the CEOs.
Hayley Evans, Head of People at The Alan Nuttall Partnership, said: “Every Partner from across the business is delighted that we’re bringing some joy to children in local hospitals this December.
“We’re focused on embracing our employee-ownership and this includes developing the role we play within our community – making gestures like this is an important part of that.”
Flexeserve and University Hospitals Coventry & Warwickshire
11 miles from Flexeserve’s Global HQ in Hinckley, UHCW is one of the largest acute teaching hospitals in the UK with the vision of becoming a national and international leader in healthcare.
Visiting the hospital in person to donate gifts on behalf of Flexeserve and the whole team, Jamie Joyce said: “The work of University Hospital Coventry & Warwickshire is incredible and has benefited many of our Partners here at Flexeserve. As a company with strong family-friendly values, this opportunity to support the local community really resonates with our Partners.
“When loved ones spend Christmas in hospital, it’s hard. It brings additional stress and worry at this time of year and initiatives like this give us the opportunity to help local families in this situation.”
Hayley concluded: “From everyone at the Partnership, we wish our local communities a wonderful festive season and a Happy New Year.”
