The 2024 show was a huge success for NACS, setting a record high of over 26,000 attendees, keen to see the latest developments for c-stores and hot food operators. This provided an excellent opportunity for Flexeserve, the innovators in food-to-go hot-holding, to wow industry heavyweights with their latest advancements.

With educating and aiding customers on their hot-holding journeys being a key part of Flexeserve’s mission, it was fitting that Dave Hinton was on-hand to host an expert live panel. Along with executives from convenience giants, Circle K and Gate Petroleum, their discussions into exciting new innovations in equipment and packaging were met with great enthusiasm for the brands involved, as well as the industry’s future.

Lee Hawkinson, Head of Facility Rehabilitation and Concept Design at Circle K, made a distinct observation during the panel. “When choosing new equipment, it’s important to make sure it is flexible enough for a smooth transition as a c-store moves from one daypart to another.”

Featuring a 120V power supply, Lite delivers Flexeserve’s patented 3D convection technology anywhere it’s needed. The new product is also compact, ultra-lightweight and stackable, making it a great ‘starter’ unit for new operations, or a fantastic counterpart for any units already in use.

“It was clear from the start that attendees were very excited about Lite’s possibilities,” Dave continued. “With this smaller unit, customers can create Micro Market areas within their c-stores, or boost impulse-buying opportunities right at the cash register.”

Lite’s impressive design and profit-enhancing potential led to its inclusion in the NACS Cool New Products Preview Room. This is the home for innovations, products and services that are most likely to impress attendees and become future successes. Visitors to the room were able to scan QR codes of the products they were most interested in, which also counted as a vote towards the highly coveted Top 10 list.

At the show’s conclusion, Lite was announced as placing ninth in the Top 10 out of more than 300 products considered – a phenomenal result for a product only seen for the first time at this event.
